NEWTON FAULKNER LIVE

I know it's almost a week too late but I've been very busy at work. Anyway!!! last Tuesday I went to see Newton Faulkner live at the Aylesbury Civic Centre with Aussie Darren. Darren managed to get hold of 2 tickets for free to what looked like a sold out concert.
I Last saw Newton Faulkner in 2007 in an old church in Whitechapel London, the concert was great. I had never heard of him before but got invited and decided to come along anyway. He was almost unkown then, five days later his first album was released and he instantly became a national celebrity, the record company had to reprint his album because he did better and sold more than even they anticipated. I actually bought the album, I can't even remember the last time I bought an album that wasn't metal, old or at least a bit unusuall.
The new album is on it's way now and that's why he is playing again.
I do like Newton Faulkner because he really is himself with the audience and even though he is famous now his behaviour is still the same, most people like Susan Boyle becomes up themselves straight away, Susan Boyle even cashed in early and look what happened there LMAO.
Anyway!!! he is chatting, joking and asking the audience for advice between the songs so it's a comedy act as well as a concert.
He had us dancing, singing males versus females and screaming etc. He even played the Scary castle theme from Super Mario Bros on 8 bit Nintendo, on some weird bass pedal he had. It was such a good night out and I'm so very happy that I had the opportunuty to go, Thank you so much Aussie Darren xxx.
The new album sounds really good and he performed his old songs perfectly.
